The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has appointed Sam Olugbadebo Olumekun as the new Chairman of Information and Voter Education Committee, IVEC to replace Barrister Festus Okoye, whose tenure expired recently.
Olumekun was confirmed last year alongside 6 other by the 9th Senate as National Electoral Commissioners of Nigeria’s electoral umpire, INEC.
